Asthma patients should get a pneumonia injection if they have a history or chronic bronchitis
It’s everywhere right now.
Yep! Nearly every family we know has been effected. And so many kids and adults are taking huge amounts of time to recover from it. It’s a terrible virus.
My Daughter has been in hospital for 3 days with it- not looking like going home anytime soon.
My daughter did last term and was in hospital for 5 days
Yes my son has just recovered from it. Had it all school holidays. It’s definitely going round.
Yes, often needs specific antibiotics to treat 🤗.
Yes. My son had it last week. 5 kids from his class all had it. 7-14 day incubation period. Needs special antibiotics as it's resistant to amoxicillan. Pharmacies run out of it around here.
We all had it in January. I was so sick, I didn’t start antibiotics until day 7 so was extremely unwell rest of the family started it a lot earlier and weren’t as sick. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
One home with it, suspect the other is going down now. Dr said our school is rife with it. Our local pharmacist said she's never filled as many script for the specific antibiotics for it in her entire career as she has the last few weeks.
What are the symptoms?
Yes, my 4 year old son had a mild case of it. I had it full on. Still recovering.

Yep.. hit my daughter.. 10 days to recover.. however I got her swabbed on day 2 of the fever and found out what is was by day 5 then got the correct antibiotics asap. Doc said its is epidemic atm and seeing lots of hospitalisation from it..
My son was so sick! Two weeks plus off school, passing out at the doctors, multiple types of antibiotics … pharmacist couldn’t believe how many kids were coming down with it
Yes, our household had it too. It was awful!
Both of my boys had it
Yes it’s everywhere. It’s been going around our primary school since beginning of March. Both my kids (7 and 5) have had it as have most of their friends.
Yep My #4 son was hospitalised for a week from that terrible pneumonia
Apparently the liquid form of the antibiotic needed for it is running extremely low due to the number of cases. Some kids have been given tablets to crush.

Yes - 2 weeks off school just before the holidays & admission to hospital.
Why so many cases?
